چکیده

The goal of the study was to determine whether heterotic influence and phenotypic link between a numbers yield variables in F1 hexaploid wheat hybrids could be controlled (Triticum aestivum L.). Our research trail held at Botanical Garden Sindh Agricultural University's Department Plant Breeding Genetics Tandojam, Pakistan. Six parental varieties (Sunhri, PBGST2, Sarsabz, TD1, TJ83, Moomal) nine (TJ83 x PBGST2 TJ83 Moomal, TD1 Sarsabz Sunhri, TJ83) were supplied with material seed by Breeding. After eight characters evaluated, experimental fields selected put into randomised complete block design four repetitions. differed considerably (P 0.01) for every trait examined exception plant height maturity up 75% time, whereas parents showed no differences grain yield. There significant heterosis hybrids, as seen mean square parent hybrid. Overall, important even if it negatively correlated majority production metrics, meaning that genotypes early maturation produced lower yields. spikelets spike-1, index, harvest index plant-1 all adversely connected height, however significantly favourably indices. These findings choosing plants produce more based on one or components.

Vernalisation Response of Some Winter Wheat Cultivars (Triticum aestivum L.)

For 17 cultivars of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) different vernalisation and photoperiod responses were detected. The effect of photoperiod sensitivity was not significantly changed by vernalisation; different vernalisation responses were probably due to the presence of multiple alleles at Vrn loci. The delay in heading depended on the vernalisation deficit exponentially: y = parameter (...

Factors Affecting the Radiosensitivity of Hexaploid Wheat to γ-Irradiation: Radiosensitivity of Hexaploid Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

Understanding the radiosensitivity of plants, an important factor in crop mutation breeding programs, requires a thorough investigation of the factors that contribute to this trait. In this study, we used the highly radiosensitive wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety HY1 and J411, a γ-irradiation-insensitive control, which were screened from a natural population, to examine the factors affectin...

Chromosomal distribution of pTa-535, pTa-86, pTa-713, 35S rDNA repetitive sequences in interspecific hexaploid hybrids of common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and spelt (Triticum spelta L.)

Fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) relies on fluorescent-labeled probes to detect specific DNA sequences in the genome, and it is widely used in cytogenetic analyses. The aim of this study was to determine the karyotype of T. aestivum and T. spelta hybrids and their parental components (three common wheat cultivars and five spelt breeding lines), to identify chromosomal aberrations in the...

Transcript-specific, single-nucleotide polymorphism discovery and linkage analysis in hexaploid bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.).

Food security is a global concern and substantial yield increases in cereal crops are required to feed the growing world population. Wheat is one of the three most important crops for human and livestock feed. However, the complexity of the genome coupled with a decline in genetic diversity within modern elite cultivars has hindered the application of marker-assisted selection (MAS) in breeding...
